Breaking Strongholds

Demolishing the walled cities of the mind

Scripture Anchor
We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.
2 Corinthians 10:5
Written Meaning

A stronghold is a walled city in your mind. The lie reigns inside; walls keep revelation out. Deliverance demolishes the fortress through Recognition, Repentance, and Replacement.

A Prayer to Pray

“Father, expose every lie I have agreed with. I renounce it in Jesus' name. Fill the empty space with Your truth, Your Spirit, Your worship.”

One Practice

Three steps: 1) Recognition — invite the Spirit to expose the lie, write it down. 2) Repentance — speak aloud: "I break agreement with [fear/shame/control] in Jesus' name." 3) Replacement — fill the emptied space with worship, Scripture, truth.

Reflection

What recurring lie do you keep agreeing with? Write it. Renounce it. Replace it.
