Healing from Rejection
When the people who should have held you let go
Though my father and mother forsake me, the Lord will receive me.
Rejection wounds run deep because they speak about identity. If those who should have wanted you did not, a voice forms inside that says you are unwanted. The Father's voice is louder — and it says you were chosen before the foundation of the world.
“Father, You saw every door that closed on me, every back that turned, every word that diminished me. Receive me where they did not. Speak Your name over me until the old voice grows quiet.”
Place your hand on your chest. Say aloud, slowly, three times: 'I was chosen before the foundation of the world. I am received by the Father. I am wanted.' Read Ephesians 1:3-6 aloud. Let the truth settle deeper than the wound.
